Professional postgraduate program of Civil and Hydraulics focus on the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the infrastructure construction. The research fields of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering include the planning of regional and urban area, the survey, design and construction as well as the maintenance of various engineering facilities such as the industrial and civil buildings, urban water supply and drainage engineering, etc. Civil and Hydraulics (MSc) is a 3-year full-time program.
CEE has been recruited the full-time postgraduates with master's degrees in the program of Architecture and Civil Engineering since 2009. In 2020, the name of the program was changed to Civil and Hydraulic Engineering. This aim of this program is to train the senior engineering and technical personnel engaged in consulting, construction, operation and management in the field of urban water supply and drainage engineering.
The main research topics in the program of Civil and Hydraulics include: safety guarantee of urban water supply system, urban drainage and resource recycling, urban flood control and rainwater utilization, urban water circulation system, water supply and drainage works in tall buildings, design of urban fire control and safety engineering.
Modules provided by this program are classified as public compulsory courses, professional compulsory courses, public elective courses and professional elective courses. The total credits required for this program is 28 as minimum, in which the credit for public compulsory courses should be 6 as minimum, the credit for professional compulsory courses should be 6 as minimum. The candidates should be chosen at least one course which taught by English.
