Research Description

Dr. Gao is a professor and served as a doctoral supervisor in the College of Environment and Ecology, Chongqing
University. At present, Dr. Gao has two main research directions: one is the environmental monitoring,
environmental  behavior and risk assessment of emerging pollutants; the second is the toxicological study
of environmental endocrine disruptors. And Dr. Gao has led her team to publish several papers in these two
research areas. In addition, Dr. Gao also has many part-time jobs in the society and academic organizations at
home and abroad. For example, she is a member of American Chemical Society and International Water
Association. Moreover, she is a reviewers for many international journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials,
Science of Total Environment, Chemospher, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. Finally, Dr. Gao
won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education in 2019 for her
research projects.
