Research Description

Dr. Zhao is currently a Professor of Water Science and Engineering at Chongqing University. He is also the President of ACS International Chapter of Southwestern of China, Member of Youth Committee of Chinese Association for Standardization of Engineering Construction in the area of water supply and drainage, and adviser of College student chemistry club at Chongqing University. His research interests include advanced water treatment technologies, advanced oxidation technologies, and novel carbon based materials for removing contaminants of emerging concern in water. Dr. Zhao is the author or co-author of over 80 refereed journal publications, 20 conference proceedings, 3 book chapter publications, 6 patents, and several national standards of China, and local standards of Chongqing.
